  • Current Vacancies
  • District Vacancies: We are always on the look out for people to help out on sections (Beavers through to Explorers) but if you would prefer an equally important 'back-room' role then we'd also like to offer vacancies with our executive committees who are trustees and make sure sections are managed efficiently and within the rules.  We are as flexable as you need us to be.  If you can spare an hour or two a week, a month or a year, we'll be able to find you a role that suits your willingness to get involved.
  • County Vacancies: If you'd like a more strategic role and want to join the County team managing a different aspect of Scouting from development, growth and trusteeship then please do get in touch.  We have vacancies that will fit you and your skills but specifically our current ones are: Assistant County Commissioner (Growth) and vacancies within the County Training Team - educating others in numerous skills from fire lighting and first aid through different presentational styles and how to run a challenging programme.

My promise to you is that we will give you

  • Access to our training and development programmes using skilled team members as well as 'e-learning' modules you can do in your own time.
  • A ‘different’ and interesting additional experience to your CV
  • An opportunity to change the lives of many young people
  • A warm welcome to our friendly team
