Virtual Overland 2021

Our annual Overland weekend is back, but with a twist!

Saturday 27th March brings the first ever 'Virtual' Overland, if you have ever wanted to have a go at our Overland competition (Which is usually a 2 day hike & checkpoint activity competition) here's your chance at trying out the type of checkpoints you will encounter.

In order for the event to take place Scouts and Explorer Scouts will have to gather in small groups with leaders. This means that for the event to take place we will have to be at the Scout Association readiness level of ‘Amber’, ‘Yellow’ or ‘Green’. As current our hosting counties are at the ‘Red’ readiness with regards to Scouting. We are continuing to plan for the ‘Virtual Overland Hike’ in the hope that the situation will improve.

There is no fee for taking part in this event so we very much hope that Troops and Units will enter a team. You can find out more information using the below link to the Overland page, you can also find more information on their Social Media page.
